Rocky Reach Trail

Construction Plan


Construction of the Rocky Reach Trail was completed in 3 phases. Each phase includes an Interpretive Station highlighting select aspects of the unique history and nature heritage of this region.


Phase 1 - 1 mile at the north end, connecting Lincoln Rock State Park with Interpretive Station #1 overlooking Rocky Reach Dam.


Funding for this phase has come from Washington State Parks, Washington State Department of Transportation, Chelan County PUD, and the Complete the Loop Coalition. Construction is now complete on this Phase. State Parks is the designated administrator of the construction process.


Phase 2 0.6 miles at the south end, connecting the Apple Capital Loop Trail at Odabashian Bridge to Interpretive Station #2 overlooking the Columbia River.

Phase 3 3.3 miles connecting Phase 1 and Phase 2.
